1. I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do now/what is the process?
That's great! The fist step is to select what plan fits your needs. We have three different design packages available. Anything from a basic informational website to a full featured dynamic E-commerce site. Once you select your package, your next step is to from our diverse listing of value added website features. This includes everything from search engine submission, to a full featured web forum. After selecting your plan and features your next step is to sign up. After you sign up, you will be contacted by a member of our design team and will begin on the process of establishing your web presence!
2. How long does it take for a design to be completed?
All of our plans have a scheduled time for release. These schedules are attainable provided you have all the text, logo's, and images available when you sign up and respond to our revisions in a timely manner. We take pride in the fact that up until now none of our projects have taken us longer than four weeks to complete, regardless of their complexity.
3. Do I have to submit all the content right after I order or can I submit it later in the project?
It is preferred that all site content be submitted at the start of the project. However, you can submit additional content throughout the design phase. This helps us determine the scope of the project, identify required resources, and limits the amount of delays that can occur in getting your Website designed.
4. What constitutes a Web page?
A Web page is a page on the Internet that can be accessed through a Web browser. Each time you click a link on the Internet and are taken to a new screen, you are viewing a different Web page
5. Can I view my Website while it is being built?
You will be given opportunities to review the pages of your Website as pages are completed during the design process. At each of these times you will also be given the opportunity to make revisions to your Website.
6. How long will it take to design my Website?
The time required to create a custom Web design will vary based on the complexity, functionality, and quantity of content you're looking to incorporate into your site. You may request a completion estimate after we have received your order, and you will be updated on our progress numerous times throughout the design process.
7. Can you take/move content from my old site?
Yes, if redesigning an existing site WestHost can move the content to the new site if desired.
8. Will I be able to update my site when it is done?
Yes. You will have full access to the files on your hosting account. You can edit them through any number of programs. For more information on managing your Website please visit your WebHost control panel.
9. Can you maintain my website for me after the design work is finished?
Of course! One of our Web Design offerings is our Website Maintenance Service. There is no monthly or up front fee for this package. You only pay when you need it and for what you need! Any time you need changes made to your website, simply contact your assigned project manager and provide them with a description of what changes you need made. He will then give you a detailed price quote for your approval. This will ensure that you always know what you are paying for and provides you with an estimated time of completion. This includes integration of the PayPal payment gateway into your store to process credit card transactions from your customers. 12. Once you complete website design, who owns the copyright of the designed site and elements?
Upon completion and final approval for the website design everything is owned by you.
